The film ‘Changul’ is set to be released on October 2 (Ashoj 16)

Although the film ‘Changul’ was originally scheduled to be released on September 4 (Bhadra 19), its release has been postponed to October 2 (Ashoj 16) because the technical post-production work could not be completed on time.

Produced by Malati Karki and directed by Ram Gautam, ‘Changul‘ portrays a nation weakened by corruption, the rise of youth awakening, and the Gen Z movement. The film is inspired by the movement that took place on September 8 and 9 last year (Bhadra 23–24) and has been made in memory of the martyrs of the Gen Z movement who lost their lives during the protests, according to producer Malati Karki.

The film features performances by Rabi Karki, Laya Sangroula, Laxminath Timilsina, Rakesh Kumar Rai, Asha Bishwakarma, Swastika Lamichhane, and others. Child artist Rimsha Karki also appears in the film.

The film’s soundtrack is composed by Bipin Acharya, Nandani Adhikari, and Bikram Karki. Dev Maharjan is the action director, while Dipen Basnyat has handled the cinematography and editing.
