The filming of “Mitjyu”, directed by Anil Budhamagar, has been completed.
The movie stars renowned dancer Teria Magar, who is making her debut in the Nepali film industry with this project. She appears alongside actor Dayahang Rai in the lead role. The film was shot over the course of a month in various locations across Dang and Rolpa districts.
“Mitjyu” is a social drama based on the story of a jeep driver from a rural community.
The cast also includes Saugat Malla, Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, Raj Thapa, Suwarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Punmagar, Uttam Raj Pande, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pavitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar.
According to the producer, the shoot was successfully completed within a month thanks to strong coordination and teamwork from all sides.
This marks Budhamagar’s second directorial project. He previously directed Gharjwai, which also starred Dayahang Rai.
“Mitjyu” is scheduled for release on Jestha 15 (late May).
