Filming of ‘Karki Saila’ has started from Dhankuta

The film ‘Karki Saila’, directed by Rajendra Basnet, has begun shooting. Filming started on Tuesday in Dhankuta in eastern Nepal.

On the first day of shooting, actors Jitu Nepal, Priyana Acharya (Munni), Sushil Pokharel, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Mansi Sharma, Manil Tamang, Renuka Acharya, Dipson Limbu, Roda Rai, and Kamal Devkota took part.

Director Basnet informed that the shooting has begun with a one-month schedule. According to him, filming will take place in Dhankuta, Barahakshetra, and Chatara.

In the film, Munni (Priyana Acharya) will star opposite Jitu Nepal. She previously acted in ‘Jhari Pachhi Ko indrani’ and ‘Laaj Sharanam’. This is the first collaboration between Priyana—who rose to fame from the television series ‘Sakkigoni’—and Jitu Nepal.

The film is being produced under the banner of Karnabahadur Films Pvt. Ltd., with Bal Kumar Rai as the producer. It is presented by Krishna Bhagat Chamling. The chief assistant director is Rojal Thapa, while cinematography will be handled by Dambar Rai.

The film’s action choreography is by Kiran Dahal, music by Dipson Limbu, and production management by CB Bhandari. The release date will be announced after the completion of filming.
