The first look of the film ‘Paralko Aago’

The first look of the film ‘Paralko Aago’, which is set to be released on Baisakh 11, has been unveiled.
The production team released the first-look poster on Thursday, featuring the film’s main actors. The poster shows Suhana Thapa, Saugat Malla, and Prakash Saput in serious expressions.
Suhana Thapa is given the most prominence in the poster. Her face appears in a close-up, wearing sindoor in the parting of her hair and a tika on her forehead. Her eyes reflect deep emotion and sensitivity, hinting at pain, struggle, and determination. In another section of the poster, Saugat Malla appears in a traditional Dhaka topi with a serious expression. His face clearly conveys concern and responsibility, suggesting a strong role in the story.
Similarly, Prakash Saput is seen in the lower part of the poster in simple attire. His face reflects hardship and struggle. The image of a blazing fire in the background symbolizes conflict, suffering, and rebellion within the narrative.
Overall, the poster symbolically presents a rural setting, social realism, and the internal struggles of the characters. The image of fire appears to represent hidden anger, pain, and transformation in the story.
The film is inspired by the literary work “Paralko Aago” by Guru Prasad Mainali. It is directed by Laxman Sunar and presented by Sushil Pokharel. Produced under the banner of Hari Om Cine Makers Pvt. Ltd., the film stars Saugat Malla, Suhana Thapa, and Prakash Saput, along with Shankar Acharya, Sirjana Adhikari, Kishor Bhandari, Jack Shrestha, Sarita Bhandari, Renu Neupane, and child artist Manjila Baniya, among others.
The screenplay and dialogues are written by Sushil Devkota, while cinematography is handled by Sankalpa Bhujel. The film features choreography by Ramji Lamichhane and editing by Milan Shrestha. Paralko Aago will be distributed across Nepal by R Films.
About 45 years ago, the story “Paralko Aago,” included in Guru Prasad Mainali’s short story collection Naso, was also adapted into a film directed by Pratap Subba.
