Ravi Lamichhane won in Chitwan Region No. 2 by a huge margin

Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, has won in Chitwan Representative Assembly Region No. 2 with a huge margin of votes. Lamichhane won with a margin of 34 thousand more votes than his nearest competitor.

While Lamichhane got 49 thousand 264 votes, his closest competitor Krishnabhakta Pokharel of UML got 14 thousand 647 votes. Umesh Shrestha of Nepali Congress, who is in third place, has received 15,099 votes. With Lamichhane’s victory, his supporters have gathered on the streets to celebrate.
