A Holi Dhamaka event is set to be in Sydney, Australia. The Holi celebration will take place on February 28 at Granville Park, according to Arun Chandra Shrestha, President of the Urban Nepali Community.
He shared that attendees celebrating the festival of colors will have a chance to win two tickets to Bali, Indonesia. The event will offer free entry for all participants.
The Sydney Holi Dhamaka will feature performances by Karan Bhatt, DJ Nutcase, and Nikhil Tuladhar, drummer of the band Mukti and Revival, along with other local artists.
According to Shrestha, the event is being organized to make the festival of colors more vibrant and festive. He explained that due to the busy lifestyle and time constraints of expatriate life, such events provide an opportunity for the Nepali community abroad to come together and celebrate Holi. The Holi Dhamaka has been arranged to ensure that Nepalis living overseas can continue celebrating their festivals and preserve their art and culture.
